During the week of October 3-7, students will be participating in a situational awareness training. This training is part of the Chawanakee's Raptor program which alerts staff of an emergency and allows us to communicate during that emergency, our volunteer clearance system, and the last part is to train staff and students on what to do in unsafe situations.

Attached is a description of the 5 daily lessons that teachers will be using throughout the week. Lessons have been adapted to be appropriate for a specific grade range (ie - K-3, 4-5, 6-8). The purpose of these lessons is to train our students to be more aware of situations and to empower them to make decisions that can protect them.
